Geodes and a New Store!

We just got our first shippment of whole intact Keokuk Geodes. We normally buy geodes from a store that I will not mention that is located on Melrose and sells a bunch of beautiful natural stones and shells and leaves and then covers them with AWFUL gold plating. I have felt that it is my Godly mission to save all of the precious stones and minerals from this stores gawdy hand but the owner doesn’t like selling me the raw materials without the gold plating. So I have had to plan my visits when the owner isn’t there and convince the employee to sell me the geodes. And then I leave the store feeling sneaky and dishonest, but with a small bag full of geodes. But now, no longer!! We will be cracking our own geodes!! And I bought the entire bag for what that store charged me for 1!! I have a feeling that they won’t be as beautiful as the ones I purchased from the store, they were so cute with pinks and blues, these look all grey. But I guess we will soonly find out what is hiding inside of these little earth eggs after we crack ‘em. I’ll let you know.

AND for totally HOT news. . . Jane Doe John Doe now carries Jenny and Jimbob Jewelry! They have our mixed metal jewelry line along with some of the sassy pendants and belt buckles. The store carries clothing lines from the finalists of Project Runway and is owned by Jerell Scott (who was our favorite designer from the show). The whole store is filled with clothes that you will only find there. Most of it is one of a kind. If you are looking for interesting Jackets, cocktail dresses, hats, and Jewelry, this is for sure the place to go.
